my life at this point
Ok so I haven’t been on here in forever and its long overdue.
Everything in my life has change so drastically in the matter of a month.
Eddie aand I have been dating for over a year now, and I’ve decided to join the Navy. I’m extremely excited about this decision. Not only will I have full benefits, a great pay, have full coverage for myself and my future family. School will be paid for in full, and I’m basically set for life. But. I’m also doing something that is so much bigger than I am. I’m going to be a part of something that actually does make a difference, and that matters. I’m going to do something important with my life. It feels really good and I’m so excited. I’m really fucking nervous too though. I’ve never considered a career in the military. Ever. At all in my life. But I’m not doing a damn other thing with my life right now or in the near future so why not put that time to good use? My dad told me he’s proud of me and that I have his full support. My dads never fully supported me on anything before. It was really good to hear him tell me that. My moms excited and nervous for me, probably more nervous than I am, haha.
All I have to work on right now is getting in better shape, and studying for a practice ASVAB, and then taking the actual test.
Eddies possibly doing Navy with me too. Its going to suck being apart, which will more than likely happen. But it’ll be worth it in the end for the both of us.
I don’t really know what else to say now, so yeah.
